NEWS FLASH

Low cost carrier Ryanair has announced the launch of its fourth service to Banja Luka, just over a month since introducing flights to Bosnia and Herzegovina's second largest city. The no frills carrier will commence two weekly operatioms between the two from April 3, 2019, complementing its existing services from Charleroi, Memmingen and Stockholm Skavsta. "Ryanair is pleased to launch our first ever Banja Luka summer 2019 schedule, with 4 summer routes, including one new routes to Berlin, starting in April 2019, which will help deliver over 135.000 customers through Banja Luka Airport", the company said. It added, "Ryanair is also delighted to celebrate its 10.000th customer at the airport since it started operating in Bosnia and Herzegovina in October this year". Banja Luka Airport recently noted it was in talks with the low cost airline over the introduction of flights from Vienna or Bratislava as well.

Flight details for Ryanair's new Berlin - Banja Luka service can be found here.

BiH is impressing us everyday and is now part of the headlines quite often.
It's amazing how BNX will transform itself to the next INI and why not TZL? This is the perfect example of how a regional airport successfully works.
Well done Banja Luka and very well done Bosnia. Excellent job!

Well this news will primarily help passengers in Srpska and Slavonija in Croatia. Rest of Bosnia gravitates towards SJJ and OMO in Bosna.

That's because of SPU and SJJ.

This is also because ZAG needs a LCC alternative and this is exactly what BNX is made for.

Congratulations BNX! This is excellent proof showing that

    1. BNX has great potential
    2. Despite some comments here BNX is used by many Croats

      +1000 for comment number 2.
Maybe Peljesac didn't work well for BiH but this time BNX is here for a reason.

Trust me, the biggest winner are the residents of Slavonija. Now they can chose between ZAG, BEG, OSI, BNX and TZL!!
I am surprised TXL was announced this fast after the initial three routes were launched.
