Yes especially when SN Brussels reduced Zagreb to five weekly this summer and KL will be 6 weekly from the winter season in stead of January as it was the case this year.

Not sure how the airport will survive that dramatic drop in frequencies...

There's clearly enough frequencies for 6% growth in the slowest month of the year. When there's need for new frequencies, they'll be introduced. I'm not sure what the benefit would be from planes flying empty to Brussels.

Don't forget that DBV is becoming the new mini long-haul regional hub of the region. American Airlines will fly this summer.
Croatia has the largest number of airports and can be compared with Romania and Greece.

Non-stop flights to South Korea, seasonal to Canada and so on.
The coast regularly serves aircraft such as the Dreamliner, 747, etc.

In 10 years time, Croatia will definitely reach Western standards when it comes to aviation.

      Bravo Hrvatska!

He probably means ExYu, Bulgaria and Albania. What is considered traditionally and culturally as Balkans. And he is right, Croatia (thanks to the coast) is the biggest aviation market.

Having under 200.000 passengers in the capital even in the slowest month in the country that will "reach Western standards" in 10 years is...well, funny.

It is possible, but not probable imo. At any rate though, we can expect over 11,5 million...I believe 11,5 -11,7 mill is realistic.

I think the coast will grow between 5% and 10% this year, ZAG on the other hand will be between 3% and 6%.

I predict that the numbers in March will be on the same level as last year. Last year we had Easter in March, but the Summer Timetable (STT) began on the 28th of March. This year Easter will be in April with flights also being available, bacause the STT begins End of March, April will be much stronger.

Just waiting for people here to claim how bad it will be if March performs only on last years level :D

Same with ZAG an January figures :D

Why not recognise the title? Croatia has airports with extreme potential and one of the most discussed subjects in this forum. Why? Simply because it has the largest number of airports.
I just don´t get your point.

LH has announced that MUC-ZAG will be operated this summer, not by mainline but rather by CityLine's A319.
Interesting decision. I guess they are doing this with routes where they need to keep costs low.

Exactly, that is why they are flying it also to Luxembourg, Copenhagen and other, where they do not have competition.
