Emirates in biggest EX-YU recruitment drive

Emirates will be hiring cabin crew in Zagreb, Skopje, Belgrade, Maribor, Sarajevo, Budva and Mostar over the next six weeks, with a total eight recruitment events scheduled to take place.

Emirates will host an open day in Zagreb on March 25 at the Sheraton Hotel (Kneza Borne 2) starting at 09.00 local time. On the same day, the airline will also hold a recruitment event in Skopje at the Marriott Hotel (Plostad Makedonija 7) at 09.00.

In Serbia, the Middle East's largest airline will host two open days in Belgrade on March 27 and April 24 at the Falkensteiner Hotel (Bulevar Mihaila Pupina 10K) starting at 09.00. Over in Slovenia, Emirates will be hiring crew at the Hotel City Maribor (Ulica Kneza Koclja 22) also on March 27 at 09.00.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the carrier will first hold an open day in Sarajevo on March 30 at the Hotel Europe (Vladislava Skarića 5), followed by Mostar on April 21 with the venue yet to be announced. Both events will start at 09.00.

Finally, Emirates will be hiring Montenegrin cabin crew in Budva on April 19 at the Hotel Splendid Conference and Spa Bečići at 09.00.

Crew requirements at Emirates include: at least 21 years of age at the time of joining, arm reach of 212 cm while standing on tiptoes, high school graduate, fluency in English (written and spoken), no visible tattoos while in Emirates uniform and the applicant must be physically fit to meet crew requirements. Those interested must bring with them their CV and one photo. If all requirements are met, final interviews will be scheduled over the course of the same week. Benefits of working as Emirates crew include an approximate average monthly pay of 2.115 euros, layover expenses, free accommodation in Dubai, staff travel benefits, one firm free annual leave ticket to the country of origin and thirty days of annual leave.
