NEWS FLASH

Air Serbia recorded its busiest October on record, handling almost a quarter of a million passengers during the month. The airline welcomed 240.696 travellers on board its aircraft, representing an increase of 13.4% compared to last year. The average cabin load factor during the month stood at 75%, up three points. The airline’s dedicated charter brand Aviolet also registered a strong October, during which its figures improved 30.1%. “We are very satisfied with the results achieved and we are convinced the trend will continue in the coming period. New destinations, launched in June as the result of careful strategic planning, proved to be the right move which generated significant growth. We are also happy that, with our results, we had contributed to the development of Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport, whose growth reached almost 10% in Q3 2019”, Air Serbia’s CEO, Duncan Naysmith, said.

I think they should start saying what the split is between Belgrade and Niš of the total number of passengers.

The main problem with the INI route to Budapest was the timing of the flights. It's a good idea for weekend trips, but the dates were on Thursday and Tuesday, which made them unworkable.
