  1. Nice trip report my friend! Just a comment for the airport. It's the 15th of August and it seems empty, I wonder how it is now in winter time.

What's interesting is that two planes had to be parked at the old airport. From what I could see most passengers seemed to be transfer ones. If OU goes bankrupt I doubt anyone would step in to launch ZAG-ZAD flights.

  3. Frankly, I don't se a point in the report w/o a comment. Video mixes arrival to ZAD w pax waiting to board at PUY. Apparently, the author didn't get off the plane in ZAD.

  4. @belcielo ZAD passed 800K this year, the best ever. From Nov thru March there are two flights daily: ZAG ZAD PUY. Without state subsidies there would be none.

    1. I was referring to the Zagreb airport not the Zadar one.

    2. ZAG always looks empty bc it is oversized since the mngmt makes no effort or has no clue how to attract new airlines.

    3. Not only they are not attracting new airlines, but losing existing : CSA and Swiss being the latest additions to the list ; Korean, Emirates and Norwegian in winter, Eurowings cutting half of destinations, they lost Easyjet and Wizz long ago, Malaysian used to fly to ZAG, Alitalia and SAS used to fly ZAG, the list is long and will probably become even longer. And some people here saying day by day Bravo Hrvatska, yeah right

  5. Coastal airports paint a completely different picture, fortunately. Hence, bravo Hrvatska.

    4. Well, no matter of how low presidential authorities in HR are, the people of Croatia has just shown, or shouted, if you like the expression more, symbolically, that they had enough, and are about to say good bye to criminal organization which robbed and destroyed, both the country and its aviation, among the other segments of life.
