Ryanair to add twelfth new Zadar route

The Ryanair Group has added its twelfth new route to Zadar for the upcoming summer with the airline to launch services between Budapest and the Croatian seaside city. Flights will be maintained twice per week, each Thursday and Sunday, from July until the end of September. As previously reported, Ryanair’s subsidiary Lauda will open a seasonal base in Zadar by basing three aircraft at the airport. The Ryanair Group anticipates handling some 672.000 passengers on flights to and from the Croatian city this year. Further flight details can be found here.

    The ZAD story is unbelievable! Undoubtedly, one of the most booming airports in the region. What is more is the extreme growth towards the 1 million mark.
    Time to upgrade the runway and begin with long-haul flights!

    ZAD is going to eat huge portion of the possible growth at SPU. They have lower prices and the distances are not that large for a visiting tourists to reach from ZAD. I would expect SPU growth to be low single numbers this year compared to DBV which will grow at double digits.

    With this growth ZAD airport should start direct buslines to atleast Sibenik.
