NEWS FLASH

Skopje Airport will close for all commercial flights from midnight on Wednesday, March 18, until further notice based on a government decision aimed at preventing the spread of the coronavirus Covid-19. In a statement, operator TAV Macedonia said, “As an airport operator we have informed all airlines and stakeholders of this decision, while M-NAV [Macedonian Air Navigation Service Provider] has published it in a NOTAM [Notice to Airmen] - an aviation document informing all carriers of important and urgent messages”. It added, “There will be no passenger flights at Skopje International Airport in the coming period, except for state, military, humanitarian, medical, sanitary and cargo flights”. Ohrid Airport closed its doors last week.

Just to let you know that no single pilot and no single cabin crew will be fired in WizzAir during this period. So I guess you are not happy, because it means that everything is still stable.
