NEWS FLASH

Austrian Airlines will resume operations on June 15 after almost ninety days. The carrier has outlined its planned schedule for June, which will see it resume flights to Dubrovnik, Pristina, Sarajevo and Skopje between June 15 and June 21, as well as to Belgrade and Split between June 22 and June 28. Flights to Zagreb and Podgorica are currently not planned for next month. Austrian Airlines will take off to 37 destinations in the first two weeks of resuming flight operations, subject to new official restrictions, and offer an average of 5% capacity compared to the previous year. In the initial phase, the airline will primarily deploy smaller aircraft such as the Embraer 195 and Dash 8. Other destinations will be added in subsequent weeks. The airline is currently developing a flight schedule for July and will provide the relevant information in the near future. Passengers are required to wear a mouth-nose covering on board Austrian Airlines aircraft as well as at Vienna Airport.

I don't understand who will book a flight, if there are still restrictions with a two week quarantine from PRN to VIE.

I have no official source to confirm this yet, but it is very probable that the mandatory quarantine/testing will also be terminated latest on June 15th.

This is such a gift for JU which seems to be doing well on BEG-VIE, they just announced a whole range of additional flights in June. Good PR for them while OS was sitting idle at VIE waiting for financial aid.

I wonder if they'll be even back in TGD, I guess YM can carry passengers the same way OU does from ZAG.

VIE-BEG resumes on 24.06 with four weekly flights onboard the E95. It will be the 13.10 departure from VIE.
I suppose they have not yet finalized their July schedule as it has BEG as five daily.

They are certainly not bland and forgettable for the airports they serve in ex-Yu and the numbers of passengers they bring.

Just because they serve some airports in ex-YU doesn't mean they are fabulous. You have obviously never been on a premium airline like TK. Now that's a great airlines.

Anyone know why ZAG and TGD are delayed?

    Replies
    1. Anonymous13:41

It's questionable if TGD will resume at all. As for Zagreb they won't resume it straight away because it will be covered by Croatia Airlines (star and codeshare partner).
