The Emirate of Dubai will reopen for tourists from July 7. Travellers will be required to download the Covid-19 DXB app and register their details to facilitate easy coordination and communication with health authorities if they experience any symptoms. In addition to filling the “Health Declaration Form” before embarking their flight, to confirm they have no symptoms, passengers should ensure they have valid health insurance in order to enter Dubai. Tourists must also undertake a PCR test with a maximum validity of four days (96 hours) ahead of the date of departure. They will be required to show proof of not being infected with the virus on arrival at Dubai Airport. If they cannot provide proof, they will undergo a PCR test at the airport. Citizens and residents of Dubai are free to travel to any destination. Upon their return to Dubai, citizens and residents will have to undergo a PCR test at the airport.
Flydubai is gearing up for the resumption of commercial operations in the coming days. The airline will temporarily suspend its flights between its hub in Dubai and Skopje for the remainder of the summer season, with services due to be restored at the start of the 2020/2021 winter season on October 26. The airline carried 24.270 passengers between the two cities in 2019. Seasonal flights to Tivat have also been cancelled.
Flydubai will reinstate the remainder of its destinations in the former Yugoslavia next month, albeit at a reduced volume. Services to Belgrade will resume on July 4 and operate thtee times per week until the end of the month, each Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Operations to Sarajevo will restart on July 8 and run three times per week, each Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Seasonal flights to Dubrovnik will be restored on July 16 with two weekly rotations, each Thursday and Sunday. Changes remain possible.

BEG makes perfect sense, they have been operating charters quite often. At least like this there will be more order and it will be easier to book flights.

ReplyDeleteTivat was cancelled following the publication of those articles. Flydubai has published an official press release confirming no service to Tivat.
