They have been flying seasonally to the Croatian coast for years.

"The national carrier of Luxembourg has announced it will launch seasonal summer flights to Split in 2019. The city will become Luxair's fourth destination in Croatia following Dubrovnik, Zadar and Brač. Flights are yet to be put on sale, however, the carrier plans to introduce services to Split in May of next year."

Okay, let's keep it down. What in the wide world are you so hyped about? You know that we're in the midst of a crisis and you are overwhelmed by a once-per-week seasonal service on a small airline to an airport with very few connections. Recovery hasn't begun. We're still in a downwards looking spiral and this is yet to come in hard when all the numbers are added up sometime this year. Stop being so vaguely soft-patriotic when you know that more people are likely to afford Venice or some mainstream place than go to some place they've prob never heard of

That's the advantage of having a Dash compared to ATR. 2.5 hrs of flying time or even more is no issue for a Dash even without any weight restrictions.

If a long ride on a Dash is comfortable for a pax sitting on a window seat, well that's a different topic.
