  2. It’d be nice if they consider attracting some airlines to fill the terminal.

SJJ deserves at least 2 or 3 LCC planes similar to TIA and attract more MENA carriers: Oman Air, Emirates, Royal Air Jordanian, Egyptair, etc.

  4. I just don't understand this high demand to Middle Eastern countries!

In my perception Bosniacs have immigrated mainly to countries like Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden etc.

    What am I missing!?

TZL is the Bosniak airport more connected and serving mainland Europe while SJJ is a popular, tourist destination in the Middle East. In the summer peak, Gulf demand is the biggest in the entire ex-Yu.

Sarajevo has a huge influx of tourists from middle East countries nowadays, and Arabs in particular have bought a lot of property in Bosnia, that's why there is so much demand for flights from the middle East.

    4. Tourists from the Middle East are looking for a destination where they will find greenery, rivers and bearable temperatures for roaming outside at affordable prices. It's also important for them to be able to pray at mosques and designated public places. They get all of this in Sarajevo and most of Bosnia. B&H hasn't invested a single dollar in its promotion as a tourist destination nor has it subsidised any routes and yet the number of tourists has quadrupled to more than 250k p/a in the past 5 years purely as a result of word of mouth and a swift response from the private sector.

    1. Exactly! One has to be severely misinformed to write there are ethnic airports in B&H.
