Aeroflot resumes Belgrade service

NEWS FLASH

Russia’s national carrier Aeroflot resumed flights between Moscow and Belgrade as of last Saturday. Services will run twice per week, each Thursday and Saturday, representing a significant decline on last year’s three daily rotations. Flights are being operated by a mix of aircraft, depending on demand, including the Sukhoi Superjet 100, Airbus A320, A321 and Boeing 737-800. Entry into Russia for the majority of Serbian citizens is still not permitted. Air Serbia is yet to resume any of its flights to the country. Last week saw LOT Polish Airlines, Israir and Aeroflot restore services to the Serbian capital.

Just pick Thursday and Saturday. They show up fine on the website. You don't even have to pick the correct day. It shows you flights for the entire week. Note that winter season flights are yet to be added.

So Russians are allowed in and out of Serbia, but Serbians aren't allowed in Russia, so much for reciprocity!

Everyone is allowed in and out of Serbia.

But few need negative PCR, that reciprocity that they told us, it will be nothing of it, it just seems like that. Some countries should really be banned from entering Serbia until their numbers get better

Why i need a negative PCR if I'm coming from Bulgaria (not so many cases there) but arrivlas from from Montenegro and most other countries not?
Hope authorities in Serbia will make some changes to this rule.

I hope the change will be that everyone (either residents or not) will need a test coming from no matter where (but especially the EU countries, which I would require a 48h and not a 72h test; that would include diplomats and official passports holders).

Excactly, I guess BEG is lucky that demand has not collapsed and that airlines are starting to come back.

Welcome back SU, we really missed you.

  5. Last time I have looked in the booking systems ES had flights to Moscow from 25th of October. Also, two times per week (Wednesday and Sunda). Now, when Aeroflot is added as well, I supose that traffic will come real.

I can't imagine how many hell circles we will have to pass in Belgrade and Moscow as well to pass Covid border, but, main the we have a line now.

It is very interesting that we will finally have SSJ100 now on BEG regulary

Bravo SU and welcome back again to Serbia! I only hope this resumption stays as the infection numbers in Russia are deteriorating lately.

When will the SU Sukhoi land on Serbian soil? A photo needs to be taken and posted here. Hopefully we see JU using it too in the future.

Nice and very glad to hear that. Do you know what the loads were? It's good to see a different jet arriving instead of the boring 737 or 320.
      What happened to Red Wings??

    3. Red Wins will get about 60 SSJs in the near future. I'm sure that they will employ them as maximum as possible, maybe we can expect 7pw Redwings in BEG after Covid madnes pass through

      Thanks, Алекс!

Exciting stuff and this will give this beautiful, Russian bird a chance to develop. They actually have 1 according to their website and might compete directly with SU in BEG:

      https://flyredwings.com/about/park/
