Sarajevo Airport to handle under 300.000 passengers

Sarajevo Airport is expected to handle under 300.000 passengers this year for the first time since 2000. The airport welcomed 14.949 passengers in November, representing a decrease of 77.8%. The number of aircraft movements declined 45.9% to 464. During the January - November period, Sarajevo Airport handled 236.275 travellers, down 78.2%.

    Their PCR test requirements are to blame. It was impossible to get them for travel purposes until recently. Hopefully normality will resume in the Spring.
