Air Transat suspends Zagreb service until 2022

NEWS FLASH

Canada’s Air Transat has postponed its return to Zagreb until next year. The airline was to restore operations from Toronto to Croatia’s capital on May 11 but has now pushed back its service resumption until May 29, 2022. It comes after Air Canada Rouge terminated operations on the route as well. Flights between the two cities were last maintained in 2019 when 65.486 passengers travelled on board the two airlines. That same year, the number of indirect passengers flying between Croatia and Canada stood at 71.254. Despite there being seasonal nonstop flights between Zagreb and Toronto, the route also had the largest number of indirect passengers. It was followed by Split - Toronto.
