Russia’s Aeroflot has scheduled the Airbus A330-300 aircraft on its Moscow - Belgrade service for the majority of the summer. The carrier will utilise the 296-seat jet on almost all of its flights to the Serbian capital starting May 25. Up until now, the airline has been deploying the A330-300, as well as the Boeing 777-300ER, on select services to Belgrade over the past six months alongside single-aisle jets. Aeroflot’s A330-300 features 28 seats in business class and the remaining 268 in economy, including angle-flat seats in the premium cabin and personal TV screens in each seat.

JU-SU codeshare seems to be giving results. From what I heard Russian carriers can't fly to MNE so now SU and Russian agencies are sending passengers via BEG on JU.

So it is maybe possible to see Nikola Tesla A330 to Tivat
DeleteWith 33 weekly flights to Tivat I don't think there will be a need for a widebody.

Kiev has come to a decent 4 weekly.
DeleteMinsk has also survived covid, probably thanks to Belavia which is a very well run business.
DeleteSeems like the Belgrade Beer Fest and Exit will take place this year. I suppose there will be a lot of interest from abroad especially from countries that experienced strict lockdowns. BEG might experience growth in demand in the coming months.
ReplyDeleteSeems like LH has already reponded to incrased demand. Next two Fridays MUC-BEG was upgraded from CRJ to A319.
DeleteJust to add they also increased MUC-BEG from CRJ to mostly E95 in June.
DeleteThey also offer many regional destinations that they don't fly to via BEG with JU. Here is Tirana for example

They also offer TIA with AZ but connections are not great and prices are more expensive.

DeleteI really like Aeroflot! Beg SU ground staff is top notch, service onboard is always good, planes are new and on time performance is excellent. Congratulations Aeroflot!

DeleteWhat a bad J product though. Angled flat seats in 2021, incredible. Sure, works just fine for BEG-SVO, but imagine paying J money and having this seat on a long-haul flight.
DeleteAgree. But their A350 business class is fantastic. Doubt we will be seeing it any other existing wide body aircraft in their fleet though.
