NEWS FLASH

Air Serbia has announced it will increase its number of flights to Paris, Oslo and Larnaca in June as demand begins to return and some travel restrictions are eased. The carrier will be operating eleven weekly flights to Paris, almost the same as prior to the coronavirus pandemic. “Having in mind that the peak of the season is close, and that with it, the demand for flights is growing, we have decided to introduce additional services to Paris and enable even better connections for our passengers. France represents a strategically important market for us, with strong economic and business ties and a large diaspora from Serbia and other countries of the region. We are glad that we managed to quickly restore traffic between Serbia and France, and we are proud that we have for a long time stood out as the only airline on this route”, Jiri Marek, Air Serbia’s General Manager for Commercial and Strategy, said. Starting June 20, the airline will increase frequencies to Oslo to three per week, outstripping last year’s levels, while operations to Larnaca will be increased to five per week from June 7. The airline will also restore flights to Milan in late May, as well as St Petersburg and Krasnodar during the first week of June. Furthermore, it will inaugurate a new service to Rostov-on-Don.

LCA is a solid performer. Last night's flight departed with 124 passengers and returned with 85. From today vaccinated Serbs can enter Cyprus, only exception are those who were vaccinated with the Chinese one.

Nemjee, may I ask, where do you get all these numbers? Many people know stats like these, yet I can't seem to find them anywhere.

Is Cyprus allowing passengers with a single dose or asking for a fully vaccinated double shot passengers?

Here's a link where you can find out more, from what I can see passengers have to be fully vaccinated.

Interestingly, JU will be resuming 2 daily flights from SOF on Mondays with the early morning departures resumed after a long break.

You mean the night flight to SOF? I think the last time they operated that was in summer 2015.

Yep. It'll resume Sunday midnight. I think it's aimed for business travellers making transfers.
