NEWS FLASH

Low cost carrier Ryanair will be introducing a new service from Stockholm’s main international airport Arlanda to Niš and Banja Luka. The budget carrier previously maintained operations from Stockholm Skavsta to Serbia's and Bosnia and Herzegovina’s second largest cities but closed its base, discounting services as a result. Flights from Arlanda to Niš and Banja Luka will run twice per week, starting October 31 and November 2, respectively. The development comes just weeks after Wizz Air announced the launch of its Skavsta - Banja Luka service this summer. Further flight details for Ryanair’s new route to Niš can be found here, while additional information for the Banja Luka service can be found here.

So BNX will have two airlines to Stockholm in winter but ZAG will have zero. Hopefully FR adds ARN ZAG ASAP

This is extremely important because it shows that FR is not giving up on BNX just because they are expanding in ZAG. I guess they are still not sure about their success there so they are keeping this as plan B.

Great news for people using BNX. So shuttle bus transport from ZAG to BNX for the flight to Stockholm will be reality. The war between FR and Wizz has started.

It shows that Ryanair is not willing to give up on INI or BNX. I still hope they will add VIE-BEG in the future though.

Great news! I will be one of the first people to fly from Nis to Banja Luka. I always wanted to visit. I'm surprised that JU hasn't done this yet.

Not enough to make money. Even if it would be cute route to exist.
