NEWS FLASH

KLM will operate two daily flights between Amsterdam and Belgrade starting next Monday, just two months after launching operations between the two cities. The airline will introduce a new second daily service departing Amsterdam at 12.15, complementing its daily morning rotation. The flights will not operate only on July 25, 30, 31 and August 1, 7 and 8. The additional flights are currently scheduled to operate until August 29. Despite travel restrictions which were relaxed a few weeks ago, KLM has had a strong start on its Belgrade service, often increasing capacity from the originally scheduled Embraer jets to the Boeing 737s. Air Serbia has also increased its operations to Amsterdam and now maintains six weekly rotations.

I think the reason behind this is so many Indians coming to Serbia and transiting to Canada and other destinations.

Maybe yes and maybe no. KLM did extremely well even before Indians started arriving. It's not like every single increase is due to the Indians.

Now we know why they never wanted to extend the codeshare with JU. They don't need them to do well. This is a welcome alternative to Lufthansa Group airlines.

Bravo! Fantastic news. Really nice addition to BEG. I wonder if all these airlines doing well in Belgrade might encourage SK to resume BEG flights.

Time for JU to add more flights to AMS! They should increase it to 8 to not lose O&D market.
