NEWS FLASH

Banja Luka Airport will close its doors for a thirty-day period from January 15 in order to undertake work on its runway. The closure won't have a major impact on flights. Banja Luka Airport was to be served only by Air Serbia from Belgrade during the second half of January and all of February as both Wizz Air and Ryanair have cancelled all of their services to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s second largest city as a result of network-wide route suspensions caused by plummeting demand due to the current epidemiological situation across the continent. The scope of the runway work has not been disclosed. The airport operator has been granted almost half a million euros by the local government for the project.

Would you rather prefer to land at the airport where runway is in a bad condition? :D
