NEWS FLASH

Air Serbia will utilise its 257-seat Airbus A330-200 aircraft to Zurich and Barcelona due to strong demand. The wide-body aircraft will be deployed on one of three Air Serbia flights to the Swiss city this Sunday, April 17, coinciding with Easter in Switzerland and school holidays. It marks the first time the airline will use the jet to Switzerland’s largest city. The A330 will depart Belgrade at 18.00 CEST. The carrier's other afternoon service on the route has been sold out. Zurich is one of Air Serbia’s and Belgrade Airport’s busiest destinations. The Serbian airline will also be sending its twin-aisle aircraft to Barcelona on April 24, May 1 and May 22, coinciding with Easter in Serbia, the May Day holidays and the Basketball EuroLeague Final Four tournament taking place in Belgrade from May 19 to May 21.

Barcelona seems to have become very popular. Factor in that there are another 3 weekly Wizz Air A321 flights.

I guess JU doesn't have enough planes to increase BCN so they have to send the 332.

It's risky, but they probably should push the government to help them get another widebody this year. It might be hard to fill, they will need at least another long haul route but they should do it.

They could just fly it daily to Moscow, FYI in may all outbout flights from SVO are sold out and they could fill another plane easily...daily!

Apparently the operations at JU has decided to stop flying 330 to SVO due to constant delays that potentially affect JFK ops.

Don't talk nonsense. Nothing is terminated. Afternoon flight is sold out. Visible in the system.
