Hainan Airlines schedules Belgrade service

NEWS FLASH

China’s Hainan Airlines has scheduled and put on sale tickets for its new nonstop flights from Beijing to Belgrade, which will launch next Saturday, July 16. As exclusively reported by EX-YU Aviation News on Monday, the carrier will run a one weekly service. Flights will be operated by the 292-seat Airbus A330-300 aircraft, featuring 32 seats in business class, in a 1-2-1 configuration, with the remaining 260 seats in economy. Services have been timed so as to offer good connections onto Hainan Airlines’ domestic network in and out of Beijing. Tickets for flights from the Chinese capital to Belgrade have been put on sale through the airline's website. At the time of publication, the service from Belgrade to Beijing has been added to Global Distribution Systems but is yet to go on sale, which is expected later today. The return flight will include a stop in Dalian in Northern China, due to internal Covid-19 regulations, after which it will continue the 1 hour 25-minute hop to Beijing, under the same flight number. Further flight details can be found here.

    1. People on here are never happy and have to post something negative or disappointing. Nobody cares about the type of the aircraft as long as there is a non stop service between 2 countries . Nice to see Hainen back in BEG .

Ofc is nice having it back, but as end customer you always want the best, so if they have 787s sitting on the ground it would be naturally better for end customers to fly on those.
It's like you are booked on a319 but get atr instead... You still pay the same amount, but the experience is much worse

Hainan's A330 is literally better than the 787. 1-2-1 in Business and 2-4-2 in Economy, as opposed to 2-2-2 and 3-3-3 on the 787.

Pax will have to disembark at Dalian for mandatory quarantine. The Chinese are doing their best to avoid any new cases in mega cities such as Shanghai or Beijing.

Has nothing to do with that but rather with construction workers coming from there.

Not returning to the same city has to do with Chinese Aviation regulation. Embarkation and disembark points on intercontinental flights have to be different. This rule applies to international and domestic airlines.

@12.23 It has to do with Covid. Almost all their international flights are inbound via Dalian.

  5. Well this was quite unexpected. But there are quite a few Chinese workers in Serbia so this is very convenient for them.
