Podgorica Airport overtakes pre-pandemic figures

Podgorica Airport handled 167.498 passengers this July, representing an increase of 1.6% on the pre-pandemic 2019. The number of aircraft movements grew 30.9% to 1.504. During the January - July period, Podgorica Airport handled 653.567 travellers through its doors, which is still down 7.4% on 2019. During the third quarter of the year, the airport is set to see a 34.6% increase in available seat capacity compared to 2019, the 34th highest capacity variation in Europe.

    Oh, I was led to believe that they could not survive without direct flights to Russia and now they go and beat 2019 results. Pretty damn good.

      You are mixing pairs and oranges. Podgorica had no flights to Russia. Tivat had over 60% of its traffic from Russia and its results this year are an absolute disaster.

    the airport is a total mess. its over crowded and not made for these masses.. they realy need to build a second terminal which they can open up in the summer months
