Sarajevo Airport saw its passenger growth slow in November following the closure of Wizz Air’s base in the city. The airport welcomed 68.243 passengers, which was still slightly up on the same month during the pre-pandemic 2019, when it handled 67.358 travellers, a difference of 1.3%. During the January - November period, Sarajevo Airport processed 1.310.309 passengers up 20.7% on 2019, making this year its busiest on record.
Same amount of pax as LJU?
ReplyDeleteFraport have not yet published their figures for November, but in all cases SJJ has a higher number of passengers compared to LJU and I have no clue what the situation will be in 2023. SKP and LJU will be quite affected in 2023.

ReplyDeleteTuzla had 50k in November which is alomst the same they had in July and August. Difference with Sarajevo is 18k in November.

ReplyDeleteHow did they manage to have more passengers in Nov 22 without Wizz, than in Nov 21 when Wizz was there? Well done either way :)
ReplyDeleteTurkish and Pegasus are sending bigger planes (a321, a321n) compared with usual for this period of year (a320, b737-800). Also all November, Austrian was using a320 and a321 instead of usual e95 in this period of the year. Additionally, w8 flights to Abu Dhano with a321n are sellong pretty well
DeleteAlso, I flew in November and instead of Dash Croatia Airlines sent Airbus to Sarajevo, it was full.
