NEWS FLASH

Air Serbia welcomed on board its millionth passenger of the year yesterday, May 8. The airline achieved this milestone on June 25 during the pre-pandemic 2019 and on July 8 last year. “We knew this outcome was outstanding when we registered our 500.000th passenger in 2023 in mid-March, and we thought that more successes would come fast. Just two months later, we are breaking our records again. For the first time since we have been operating under the name of Air Serbia, we handled one million passengers in May already. We have reasons to be satisfied with the outstanding monthly results, ten consecutive record months in terms of the number of flights and passengers carried and a profitable first quarter of 2023. These results motivate us to be even better and more efficient in the coming period", the carrier’s CEO, Jiri Marek, said. Air Serbia expects to handle up to 3.5 million passengers this year.

Their performance is showing extremely high booking factor . I am confident that JU could use up to 6 wide-body aircrafts very comfortable. Just hard to start all those destinations at one's for a small airline like JU. Wish them great success this year .

Article does not say what is Air Serbia's profit. Number of passengers is irrelevant.

Well they said they made a profit in Q1 which was unheard of for them. So I'm pretty sure they're doing allright
