Flydubai rolls out Business Suite seat

NEWS FLASH

Flydubai, which maintains year-round operations to Belgrade, Ljubljana, Sarajevo and Zagreb, as well as seasonal services to Dubrovnik and Tivat, presented its new business class product on the Boeing 737 MAX aircraft which will be rolled out on select routes from the fourth quarter. Showcasing the new seat yesterday at the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai, Flydubai did not outline which routes will feature the new premium cabins, however, Belgrade, Ljubljana and Zagreb, all stand a good chance of boasting the new product. The Business Suite, designed exclusively for single-aisle aircraft, will see ten suites with a sliding suite door introduced to a number of the carrier’s aircraft before the end of 2023. The new seat will offer all passengers in business class direct aisle access, which rivals the business class experience on board many wide-body aircraft.

This looks nice, but I don't think it's needed. For example they still are flying old old business class on 737-800s that we sometimes see in Sarajevo. Not to mention that the business class in the current 737-max is more than enough.
Also seat being directed thowards window and screen being in front of it will make for a horrible tv viewing if flying in certain direction :D

Looking forward to trying it nonetheless

  3. Does not look good to me. So squeezed, almost no space to move in the so-called suite.

Unless you're fat and very tall, you should be ok. I am 1.78, 75kg, this seat would suit me just fine. Price on the other hand, not sure about that. Like the idea of business seats on A321 XLR, imagine 12-16 of these and 180 standard class, ideal for routes to North American destinations, NYC, Chicago, Toronto...

Now if only a return fare Belgrade-Dubai business class did not cost 2,800 euros throughout the year.

Flydubai offers low-cost product in Economy for a legacy price. Better fly with Turkish or Emirates.

I was not aware of the substandard economy on Fly Dubai until I tried it. I agree, it is really poor and Emirates combination of flights from e.g. LJU or ZAG will never be an option for me again. Will always choose Turkish over them.

The most bizarre is buying full priced ticket with Emirates (flying out of LJU on FZ codeshared with EK and then connecting to EK at DXB) and having to pay extra to use IFE. I won't even mention the legroom or the quality of on board service.
