NEWS FLASH

Egyptian leisure carrier Red Sea Airlines plans to maintain its regular charter service between Hurghada and Ljubljana throughout the coming winter season. The company, established in 2021, launched a one weekly regular charter service from the Egyptian resort town to the Slovenian capital in late May with its 186-seat Boeing 737-800 jet. The flights, which will operate for the remainder of the summer season, are now also set to continue throughout the winter, with services planned to take place each Sunday from October 29. Changes remain possible at this early stage.

Just a shame they don't put the flights on sale...

I know it is only one weekly rotation but with Wizz adding 3 weekly to Skopje, Luxair launching 2 weekly to Luxembourg and Swiss adding additional 2 weekly services to 11 weekly to Zurich, it looks like things are getting better. Hope for that 1.2-3 million this year.

My guess is that in winter Ljubljana is getting:
      Croatia to Sarajevo 2x weekly
      KLM to Amsterdam 3x weekly
      Aegean to Athens 2x weekly
      Iberia to Madrid 2x weekly
If we are lucky we'll get Austrian too

KLM is not happening anytime soon. There are no slots for it in AMS.

I think its time for JU to add third daily on some days becouse the flights are full on ATR’s. But i think it will happen the next summer and they will leave it at double daily winter.

Would be also really nice to add KLM but it can’t really happen rn becouse of the problems they have at the airport. Austrian would be needed but I don’t see them starting flights.

What I would love is to see JU send the E95 to LJU at noon next summer.

I am pretty sure they will if the flights will be as full as they are now. They also send A319 quite a few times this summer.

AMS over the winter isn't as slot restricted as during the summer, I think KLM will soon start operating so called vacation flights from nearby airports in the summer. So Ljubljana could actually be added to their network
