Looks like they will have nearly the same number of operations this winter like they have currently in the summer, just with less routes. Bravo Air Serbia!

Madrid and Malaga would be nice additions to Wizz Airs network out from Belgrade.
Most of their other bases already do have flights to there.
Whenever Air Serbia doesnt have competition it is doing as little as possible.
Or maybe Iberia could for once get its lazy ass up..

Air Serbia doing as little as possible when no competition? They started all Spain destinations before competition. Did you skip your meds today?

    4. Anonymous15:46

They could have started their spanisch expansion a whole decade earlier.
And from experience we know Air Serbia is best if they do have competition.
And why getting so personal when confronted with a different opinion?
You are clearly the one that has some issues.

Madrid is the only European destination I still need connections for.. I simply cannot phantom how there isn’t enough demand from BEG to justify a non-stop flight.

    7. Anonymous17:38

There are nonstop flights from Belgrade to Madrid.

Anon 15:46 spanisch expansion a decade ago? Oh so you have no clue: Jat was flying to Spain for decades. GRO, PMI, BCN charters. If there was a massive demand to justify double daily flights or current set of destinations, they would have done it. But there was NO DEMAND to justify it at that time. If there was demand Iberia would have started daily flights from MAD to BEG. But there was NOT enough demand at that time. Vueling was flying BCN-BEG but was kicked out by Air Serbia/Wizz competition. So Air Serbia works best regardless of the competition. You didn't even know there is nonstop MAD-BEG.

I am not getting personal due to a different opinion, but due to your obvious lack of knowledge and honestly, common sense to admit it.

I wondered for some timw why they don’t increase BRU frequencies. It is such a large catchment are, not only Brussels itself, but Antwerp, Lueven, Bruges, etc. At least 4 would make sense for flexibility and business travelers.

And to add, Embraer could be a real gamechanger for JU.

New modern aircrafts will be game changer for JU. Aircrafts which burn less fuel, modern and new. The E195 with 20 seats less then the A319 isnt going to change much, yes it is a nice addition for filling the gap, but it is not a gamechanger. Any aircraft is made to be profitable with load factor of 70%.

Something like the A220 I may suggest

Yes, excellent and expensive plane grounded throughout the world

    4. Anonymous17:44

Planes are not made to be profitable at certain LF. It depends on the prices so if the price is right it could be profitable even with one passenger.

its amazing that they are trying to remain as busy this winter just like the summer. I hope it works for them.
and hope this translates to increase of regional travel.

This might really turn to a good story. Additional gamechanger is using atr -600 series - lot of passengers avoided them because of old ATRs which were really uncomfortable, part falling up (from seats, ceilings), seats “reclaining” itslef and so on… now, personally atr 600 is even more comfortable in cruise than jets - no noise, minimal vibration, better view from lower altitude.. And Embraer is on of the most pleasent planes to fly in - I prefer it over Airbus, it’s quiter, bigger windows, even nicer small of the cabin (my personal immpresion)

Air Serbia increasing Vrankvurt? Is OU virus spreading from ZAG to BEG? Pozdrav please help!

    2. Vrankvurt is one of the DOZEN destinations Air Serbia increased only during the last days, in order to bring more ex-yu and Balkan people to BEG, and bring more transfer passengers to their widespread network of destinations, about 60 if I am not mistaken, long-haul included. Vrankvurt, in addition to Minken, is the ONLY destination Croatia Airlines is increasing, in order to feed Lufthansa's network of destinations, in Europe, and around the World. So, the two are totally incomparable. And as far as I know, Jiri Marek is innocculated and vaccinated against the kiss-german-ass-disease, so no need to be afraid of the virus, which at the moment is securely kept within Croatian borders, thanks to Jasmin and Sredisnjica Kradezea

As a frequent flyer FRA-BEG: Thank you AirSerbia
And the E-Jets are great. In case of Frankurt caused delays (crowded airspace) they can even win some minutes as they - like all the other non serbian operated wet leases - are not flying a half circle around Croatia.
