NEWS FLASH
Zadar Airport welcomed its millionth passenger of the year last Friday for only the second time in its history. The millionth traveller, coming off a Ryanair flight from Memmingen, was registered almost a month ahead of last year, which marked the first time the airport handled over a million passengers in a single calendar year. "We are so pleased to celebrate this achievement. This year we are expecting around 1.25 million passengers which is 12% more than the last year. In August alone we handled 295.000 passengers, which was the busiest month in Zadar Airport's history", General Manager, Josip Klišmanić, said. Zadar Airport’s strong growth is being primarily fuelled by Ryanair, which boasts a seasonal base in the city.

At least what they could do is put the 3 zeros on the left and not on the right, this just looks off :D
ReplyDeleteHahaha good one
DeleteNow that is what you call Ryanair domination
ReplyDeleteMore than 10 times capacity ratio FR vs. OU.
DeleteNot to mention that Ryanair's load factor is almost double that of Croatia Airlines. The Zagreb-Zadar-Pula triangle is very poorly loaded, so the capacity figure is far higher than the actual passenger numbers.
DeleteWhat difference does that make, both are our EU companies!
DeleteBravo Hrvatska!
ReplyDeleteIf Ryanair were company from Hrvatska, I would fully agree. Seeing flag carrier from Hrvatska with 11 TIMES less capacity offered, and 15 TIMES less passengers carried due to lower LF, is something worth being disappointed and ashamed about, not hailing Bravo
DeleteZadar is airport from Hrvatska and it has achieved great results without the need of flag carrier. So please spare us from your OU ramblings for once.
DeleteEvery piece of good news for Croatia is another reason to cry for Pozdrav...
DeleteAnyone knows the number of Croatians using any of the flights in coastal airports.
Naivno do boli!
DeleteTax breaks from whom?? Are your serious? Meanwhile Croatia Airlines receives hundreds of millions of euros from the government every decade
DeletePartijski bot koji ima zadatak negirati istinu o upropastenom i ponizenom nacionalnom prijevozniku na duznosti. Dobar tek!
DeleteOU has not and is not receiving hundreds of millions of euros, that's a lie. Ryan has been and does enjoy tax privileges from the Irish Government which traditionally has been avoiding EU rules on full taxation of large companies, large tech American companies being the prime example. Pozdrav is again having meltdowns that I will not comment.
DeleteBro, you don't need to comment on me, you just need to open your eyes and look around. No big words, no big actions
DeleteRyanair cut frequencies on number of lines, started flying to many destinations in June, contrary to what the article states. ZAD is in trouble, completely at the mercy of FRA. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteBoth Ryanair flights and capacity have increased around 3% year-on-year in Zadar.
DeleteTrouble? It is one of the best-performing airports in Europe for two years running. The June start is irrelevant because capacity was significantly higher June-July-August-September
DeleteBest performing just because it was not developed in the past. U cant compare startup to a well established company
DeleteOk, so what can you compare it to then?
Deleteand next summer wizzair with 10 destinationa...
ReplyDeleteHow do you know?
DeleteEveryone wants to visit beautiful Dalmatia.
ReplyDeleteSure
DeleteI want to
DeleteI won't be retuning anytime soon with the prices locals charge. Greece, Italy, Spain all offer better value.
