NEWS FLASH
Leisure carrier Corendon Airlines will introduce seasonal flights from Heraklion in Greece, as well as Antalya in Turkey to Ljubljana next year. Both will operate once per week, on Fridays and Sundays respectively. Flights from Heraklion commence on June 7 and run until September 6, while Antalya will operate from June 16 until October 6. Tickets can be purchased through the airline’s website. Flights will be maintained with the 189-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Corendon Airlines is the second new entrant on the Slovenian aviation market announced so far for next year, complementing airBaltic.

All Trade Air destinations exceed 15-16. So if we finally see a national airline, there will be two players in Ljubljana (of course I mean by served destinations ).

DeleteGreat news! It will be interesting to see how tourist agencies will respond as there are a bunch of charter flights to both destinations. Although if you want to buy flights only it is quite expensive.

Pozdrav, it will be beneficial for both ZAG and LJU to have more options to fly next summer. LJU will have options to HER and AYT while ZAG not yet and Slovenes will also benefit from FR services in ZAG. Don'т forget that sevices to TGD, SOF and MAN are already restored starting April and FR increasing a lot of frequencies. By then, LJU might come up with something with Fraport. It is still too early.
