NEWS FLASH

Air Serbia will increase operations on its seasonal flights between Belgrade and Plama de Mallorca this coming summer season. The carrier plans to operate five weekly flights between the two cities, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, up from three weekly last year. Operations resume on June 4. Based on its existing schedule, the airline will run 27 weekly flights between Belgrade and Spain this summer. In addition to the five weekly Palma de Mallorca rotations, these include twelve weekly to Barcelona, four weekly to Valencia, and three weekly operations to both Madrid and Malaga. Further changes remain possible.

At least you dont have fog like we have in SKP. In the past few days everything was delayed and there were many cancelations. I landed in Thessaloniki instead of SKP :(

I've been following it on Flightradar. I'm curious what the airline offers in such cases or do they just leave you stranded? Assuming you flew with Wizz.

Yes we were returning from Copenhagen. Btw, i think that me and my friends were the only tourists on the flight returning back home, everyone else or 95% was diaspora. I couldnt believe it cause it was a main airport and big city in Europe so i thought there will be more travelers but i was wrong.
When the plane landed in Solun, we werent allowed to exit it for 90 minutes or maybe two hours. Everyone was blaming the cabin crew, i was so sorry for them cause they were tired as well and they also wanted to go home and sleep. We were kept inside the aircraft cause the captain told us that they are in negotiations with the airport of Solun to secure staff for the baggage and pax, and after the told us that for 10 minutes the staff on passport controll will turn on the computers ( lies, what actually happend was negotiations between Wizz and Solun Airport for paying the landing and other fees which werent planned as well as paying for buses ). They told us that buses will be waiting for us outside, and i didnt believe it. We landed in Solun in 1AM or 2AM greek time. Until 5AM greek time we were waiting for the buses, and when they came it was chaotic. First they asked the people with children to get in on the first bus, but in the bus there was everything but people with children. Anyways, we got in in the 3rd bus and arrived at SKP airport around 7:30. The bus driver was super fast and polite thanks god.

Also the cabin crew served us water while we were waiting on the ground at SKG. All of them were super friendly as well as rude with the rude people cause thats what they deserve.

Stop with the drama. 80 minutes delay is not long during any kind of inclement weather, especially snow.

Hmm 80 minutes is a lot if you have a connection at your destination. It also creates a chain reaction which delays pretty much all flights throughout the day.

Pretty sure that Spain will very quickly become JU's top 3 markets if it continues like this. My guess is they might consider Bilbao in the future - the Basque Country is Spain's wealthiest autonomous region home to many companies and industries.

No, it's not. Check your data quite well. GDP per capita is highest in Basque country, Madrid and then Catalonia. Do not argue. You have all facts on internet.

Spain became more popular than Egypt for Serbs in a year! Both in summer and winter. I wonder what other markets (leisure) would do well? As TOP we have those above, but and Croatia, Cyprus, Dubai, Malta, Tunisia are also back with a bang, in the summer we have 5 flights a day. I see potential in Morocco, Algeria, Tanzania, Oman! Why not long-haul charters to the Maldives or Thailand, Cuba, the Dominican Republic?
