Ryanair modifies select Zadar operations

NEWS FLASH


Ryanair will bring forward one and delay another of its upcoming new services from Zadar. The carrier will push back the launch of its new flights between Zadar and Košice in Slovakia from the initially planned March 31 to June 2. On the other hand, the budget carrier will bring forward the introduction of its service to Barcelona, from June 2 to April 4. This year, Ryanair has 1.778.871 Zadar seats on sale, up 55.7% on last year. The number of flights will grow 54.9% to 9.589. Details for all the new destinations from Zadar and elsewhere can be found on the right hand side, in the new route launches section.

      By the way, what happens to the pushed back tickets for Košice? Do they get a refund or do they get a ticket for a later date instead?

      On Wizz you have two options, to select another ticket for free on any destination on any flight or to get a refund. I think it is the same with Ryanair.

      Not true. Wizz allows you to change + or - a certain number of days but it has to be the exact same route. They are very restrictive

      Yeah it is true, how can it not be when i have done it before in 2021 when they canceled all flights to EIN from SKP on wednesdays and i could choose EIN, CGN, DTM, CRL…

      It is a seasonal route that was planned to resume by end of May but is now already bookable from 31st March instead.

    Do many Slovaks visit Hrvatska, btw? Also what about the Czechs? I read on internet that this Czech tour agency Cudok organises trips to "warmer" destinations. Slovaks have various airports, but their figures are not so strong. Maybe because they are close to Austria.

      Czechs are traditionally one of the most common tourists. Even during Yugoslav times Czechs came in bid numbers to Croatian coast.

      Lots of Czechs and Slovaks drive, but PRG-ZAD seems successful. I guess people from Bratislava use OS and FR from VIE. KSC offers access from the east of the Slovakia. If only ZAD opens to tourists before mid June it would be so much more successful.
