Air Montenegro has cancelled plans to restore regular charter flights to Tel Aviv. The carrier’s CEO, Mark Anžur, said, "The safety of passengers and crew is our absolute priority. In this regard, the complex and unpredictable geopolitical situation in Israel and the region have negatively impacted the continuity of flights to Tel Aviv. As a result, we have been forced to cancel the planned services". Apart from safety concerns, the airline noted that expenses on the route have risen significantly, mainly due to insurance premiums on aircraft. Israir and Sun d’Or plan to continue operating between the two countries. Air Montenegro noted it stands ready to return to Tel Aviv once circumstances permit.
