NEWS FLASH

Norwegian Air Shuttle commenced operations between Copenhagen and Ljubljana this week, linking the two cities for the first time in almost five years. It also marks the carrier’s entry onto the Slovenian market. Flights will be maintained twice per week, on Mondays and Fridays, with Boeing 737 aircraft. Babett Stapel, the General Manager of airport operator Fraport Slovenija, said, “We are excited to welcome Norwegian's new flights to Copenhagen, as these were high on the wish list both for us and our passengers. Just in time, right before the start of the high season, Ljubljana Airport’s network has expanded with this popular tourist destination. Additionally, Copenhagen Airport offers convenient onward connections, especially to other Nordic countries and North America. This will also facilitate an inbound flow of tourists, as the hub is used as a gateway to Europe, not only by Danes but also by many Swedes and Norwegians. We are thankful for Norwegian’s decision to enter the Slovenian market and to the Ministry of Infrastructure for contributing subsidies to the carrier to help make this route happen”.

On a different note, does anyone know how the load factors were on the first flights?

Not really an obsession, just a curiosity. Don't be salty.

Absolutely with traffic at -28% compared to 2019. Oh I forgot, that is great for a clown in previous article. He said that is completely normal.

I was trying to get tickets for July, but they are so insanely expensive for a low cost carrier, I hope that means that there is a lot demand, otherwise this will not work.
