NEWS FLASH

Sarajevo Airport has today launched new fastrack lanes for passport control and security, which will be available to all passengers for a ten euro fee. Furthermore, the airport is also enabling paid access to its two lounges, including the recently renovated Business Class Lounge (CIP) for 25.56 euros, and its recently opened Premium Lounge for 30.67 euros. Those who purchase lounge access are granted complimentary use of the fastrack lanes. The fasttrack service is free of charge for children up to two years old, while those aged between two and twelve will receive a 50% discount. All the services can only be purchased online, through Sarajevo Airport’s website.

Much needed considering the huge lines and processing times at passport control.

Passport control is a service providex by government officials....NOT by the airport. Charging for it always smells of corruption. Less officials....and slower work by them....more demand for the paid service. How long before these two see the possibility to maximize.profit?

Passport control is staffed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and has no benefit from people paying for the Fast Track service.
