NEWS FLASH

Turkish Airlines will make slight reductions to its planned operations from Istanbul to cities in the former Yugoslavia in October, following cuts made in July and August, with September remaining stable. The airline is having to ground between 40 to 45 of its Airbus narrowbodies this year and into 2025 due to new required inspections of the aircraft’s Pratt & Whitney PW1100G geared turbofan (GTF) engines. The planned October reductions are currently filed until the start of the 2024/25 winter season on October 27. All cities served in the former Yugoslavia will be impacted. Changes remain possible. Weeks not listed below are not impacted by frequency reductions. Overall, Turkish Airlines removed 2.436 flights from its October schedule last week.
