Air Montenegro registered a net profit of 540.000 euros in 2024, down from 3.4 million in 2023. The airline’s revenue totalled 62.8 million euros, an improvement of 0.8% on the year before. It will be interesting to see their revenue and profits, without any charters this year. No A320, no party

Yes, and a half-decent hotel on the coast makes more profit per annum than the nation's flag carrier.

An airline in the balkans making profit in 2024 is really, really something amazing. It means that it paid all the salaries, all the suppliers, all the taxes and still have some positive profit. It gives the airline all the reasons to exist. We live in very dire economic times and 2025 is likely to be way worse than 2024. American Airlines and Southwest lost 50% of their value since January.

The great drop in the cost of oil this year will help airlines a lot!
Airlines based in Europe even more than others because the Euro is appreciating vs the US dollar.

That is a good news but also an interesting indication about how a small airline can also make a sense.
Montenegro is 3 times smaller that Macedonia and/or Slovenia.

So does that mean that these 2 countries could operate airlines with 6 to 9 E190?

      Just wondering?

Imagine how bad the numbers would be if they didn't have a duopoly with JU in TIV/TGD - BEG lines.
