NEWS FLASH

easyJet has returned to Skopje following a five-month hiatus with a new service from Paris Orly. The route will be maintained twice per week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The budget carrier will face indirect competition as Wizz Air maintains services between Skopje and Beauvais, advertised as Paris. However, the airport is almost ninety kilometres from the city centre. On the other hand, Orly is located some twenty kilometres from downtown Paris. The new easyJet service is being subsidised by the Macedonian government and must run until at least December 31, 2027. easyJet has a base at Orly and is the airport’s fourth-largest airline by available capacity behind Transavia France, Vueling and Air France.

Not seen at most regional airports either. Heck, the Fraport CEO didn't even come for the KLM entry to Ljubljana

Every route needs some time to develop. Let's see again in 2-4 months.
