NEW FLASH

Croatia Airlines has been notified of delays in the delivery of some of its Airbus A220 aircraft slated for this year. While the airline is set to receive its third A220-300 later this month, no confirmed timeline has been made public for the remaining four jets anticipated in 2025. Disruptions in the global supply chain, testing and certification procedures, a chronic shortage of skilled labour in manufacturing facilities and increased global demand for new aircraft are all contributing to extended delivery timelines. “The delivery schedule for Croatia Airlines’ new Airbus A220s has already been postponed multiple times by the manufacturer. Further delays for 2025 were announced earlier this year, adding another layer of uncertainty that complicates operational planning and exposes the company to increased costs”, Croatia Airlines said.

Part of this report is from the Croatia Airlines' kitchen...
There IS demand for new aircraft but NOT A220!
Nobody has ordered this on 2024. Not one. Actually, 9 have up on it.

A220 as single type fleet is highly corruptive decision forced by croatian politicians controlled by Mafia. Disastrous results and losses of OU are logical development for political entity headed (deliberately not written managed) by uhljebs and aparatchiks who execute political orders. Delays of new aircraft are irrelevant. Price of those aircraft, irrelevant. Losses are irrelevant. Connectivity, within Croatia and worldwide, irrelevant. As long as feeder role for LH is performed, and very few individuals get their financial and all other benefits everything is perfectly fine and noone thete cares about it.

OU will never return a profit to the diminishing Croatian tax payer.
