NEWS FLASH
Qatar Airways has scheduled two additional wide-body rotations between Doha and Zagreb this August, to be operated by its Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. In addition to the previously reported flights on August 22 and September 2, the 254-seat aircraft will also be deployed on August 4 and August 20, representing an upgrade from the airline’s usual Airbus A320 equipment.
This summer, Qatar Airways is maintaining a daily service between the two capitals, reduced from last year’s ten weekly flights, as the carrier continues to face a shortage of narrow-body aircraft, which has affected several routes across its network.
Bravo Hrvatska!
ReplyDeleteLol.
DeleteI'm traveling on the 12th, hope they add a 787 then
ReplyDeleteis there any chance to see them adding some new destinations in the region next year? Skopje, Podgorica, Ljubljana, Zadar/Split?
ReplyDeleteI hihgly doubt Zadar is at the top of their list. Due to a fleet shortage QR has not launched many new destinations in the last few years.
Deletebut they should start receiving 50 A321 from next year?
DeleteAfter they start to receive new A321, first they need to replace with existing and old A320, then reintroduce missing frequencies to Europe and then we can talk about new routes.
DeleteDo not forget that at the moment they have less frequencies (compared to 2020) in almost every narrowbody destination like SOF, OTP, BEG, ZAG, PRG, BUD,...
I think Qatar is becoming the winning middle eastern airline in Zagreb. They reduced frequencies this year but i still think theyll have more pax. Flydubai has an advantage cause of larger P2P traffic
ReplyDelete"Becoming". It has been the number 1 Middle Eastern airline in Zagreb for years. Mind you, there are onnly 2.

Qatar has been number 1 since Emirates left I think. flydubai was never strong enough to absorb the transfers
DeleteHope they continue adding 787 flights
DeleteActually this year, FlyDubai will have more pax out of ZAG than Qatar.
DeleteI don't understand why EK does not operate DXB-ZAG-JFK/EWR, daily in summer, 3 weekly in winter. OU is useless, american big 3 obvioisly too cautious and hesitant, they operate from/to Italy and Greece with significant direct competition, they have no fleet issues, I simply don't get it
ReplyDeleteBecause it's hard to fill business class let alone first from Zagreb.
DeleteNot true. Especially for the US
