      In Jan-July 2024 difference was 135k.

At this pace PRN might overtake ZAG this year.

PRN will surpass ZAG in future. ZAG will never overtake Kosovo. Croatia no same diaspora like Kosovo and no migration like kosovars.

Kosovo haven't highways and it's not in the middle of Europe like Croatia and Zagreb is... and the end of the year Zagreb will have a lot more passengers than Priština

Top 3 airports by the number of added passengers in the first half of 2025:

      PRN 305.991
      SJJ 224.763
      BEG 199.616

@anon 15.30. I think he meant the lack of useful highways leading out of Kosovo. There‘s a large gap between Pristina and Nis. And there‘s bascially no Adriatic highway between Skoder and Ploce, Croatia.

^ That's actually a very small difference between ZAG and BEG, given that BEG has almost double the number of ZAG passengers.
On the other hand, ZAG has been doing great but PRN is doing even better than ZAG. Especially since we can compare the additional passengers from January to July for those two airports.
ZAG added 219k and PRN 344k. That's 125k more for PRN.
I'm from Zagreb, but congratulations to Pristina!
      This year will be close.

GP has become to Pristina what Wizz is to Skopje. PRN Management is granting them half the market on a silver platter.

Looking at Wizz holding 2/3 place is insane. They maintain a total of only 4 destinations yet carry over 600k PAX annually.

I don't think anybody knows for sure. Last time I flew from there I saw some 5-6 aircrafts lined up. Presume they belong to GP as they had no livery, nothing - just plain white color.

The airport has a low seasonality compared to others. Ideal for low costs who rely on 90+ load factor, yet no base. Jul/Feb of PRN is 1.4x, compared to 1.8x of ZAG

Excellent point, I still dont understand why LCC's are not having a base here. Low seasonality, low competition from your operators (high prices). These numbers would be higher if ticket prices start at 14.99 (I know not all of them sell at that price). Its interesting that LCC start at much lower prices than tour operators', but once they sell idk, 60-70%, their prices are higher than tour operators'.

Again?. I wonder when PRN builds a new Airport. Maybe after the current lease (ca. 2032) is up, right. Years back I heard the rumor they would build it across the other side of the runway with railway connectivity and the old building would be given over to the Kosovo Air Forces. But this was years back.

GP Aviation takes no risk for operating these flights as that's all on travel agencies that have contracted them. Interestingly, this would be the size of the market that Play airlines would cover if the deal with them ever materialises. A critical part of that deal would be that Play airlines would provide the unified booking system for travel agencies instead of airtiketa.com or flyrbp.com or prishtinaticket.net or others.
