Sarajevo welcomes Cairo charters

Petroleum Air Services commenced a weekly charter operation between Cairo and Sarajevo yesterday, which will run until mid-September on behalf of Tishoury Tours Egypt. The route will be operated with the CRJ900 aircraft and maintained alongisde the tour operator's Podgorica service. Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Ambassador to Egypt, Sabit SubaÅ¡ić, said, “We need to further develop this route. The end goal is for the introduction of scheduled flights between Cairo and Sarajevo, which we have discussed with Egypt’s Tourism Minister, who is expected to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina soon”. His Egyptian counterpart in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ambassador Ahmed Abdelfattah Haggag, noted, “The new route is expected to significantly boost tourism during the summer season”. The service is catered for tourists from Egypt. Tickets for the flights can only be purchased through tour packages from Tishoury Tours originating from Egypt.

      Pretty sure they could work, one way demand from Bosnia is already big enough, if Egyptian tour operators can fill these planes as well then it's a deal made in heaven

    You are right - I flew with them , more than 20 years ago from Sharm El Sheikh to Luxor...interesting experience
