NEWS FLASH
FlyOne Armenia is upgrading its seasonal summer operations between Yerevan and Tivat to a year-round service. Flights will continue past October 26 into the 2025/26 winter season. The carrier will maintain two weekly rotations between the two cities over the entire winter period, which runs until March 28. Flights will operate on Thursdays and Sundays with the Airbus A320 aircraft. Tickets for the winter are now available for purchase through the airline’s website.
Congrats! Who would have thought there would be year round Yerevan-Tivat flights.
ReplyDeleteThere are also russian transfers. Maybe around 50% of passengers in this flight are russian tourists.
DeleteFor Armenians, it is much closer and cheaper to go on vacation in Montenegro than in Spain, France or Portugal. For this reason, Cyprus is very popular in EVN.
DeleteWhat does Cyprus have to do with cheaper vacation in Montenegro :D:D:D
DeleteSounds great, but there are no transfer routes, only p2p passengers. Two per week sounds too optimistic with A320
ReplyDeleteI flew from Paphos to Yerevan and back last week with FlyOne and most of the passengers onboard from what I could tell were Russians.
DeleteAs said above, perhaps this is the market they're targeting the flights at?
It's obviously for Russkis
DeleteThere is a great possibility that Fly One will completely relocate from Chisinau to Yerevan.
DeleteObviously they are under pressure from the Moldavian government.
Their base in Yerevan would grow a lot.
Maybe JU should start flying Belgrade to Yerevan before Fly One does!
What is the issue with Fly One and Moldova/KIV?
DeleteWhy would they want the biggest domestic carrier to leave?
Flights to Russia via Armenia. Also, their owners are arrested in Greece for money laundering and violating sanctions. But still, I don't think they will move to Armenia They also have romanian AOC(as main). They have two HQ in Bucharest and Chisinau. And subsidiaries in Armenia and brand new in Uzbekistan (FlyOne Asia).
DeleteThis airline is profiting from the war. In addition to being a good option for such a transfer through Armenia, it is also very popular among ukrainians who travel with it through Chisinau. SkyUp also opens a base there, and Wizz Air is expanding significantly.
Delete+ Hi Sky
DeleteTheir bookings process online leaves a lot to desired too. Dodgy website.
