NEWS FLASH

Air Canada will add its designator code and flight numbers onto services operated by its Star Alliance partners to Sarajevo this coming winter season. Starting October 26 the carrier will codeshare on Austrian Airlines’ flights between Vienna and Sarajevo every day except Wednesdays (AC6167/68), as well as on Lufthansa’s service between Frankfurt and Bosnia and Herzegovina’s capital from Mondays through Saturdays (AC9545/46).

The development comes as Air Canada has progressively expanded its codeshare connectivity to citieis in the former Yugoslavia this year and will now have codes and flight numbers on services to all capital cities in the region with exception to Podgorica. The carrier also has its codes on flights to Dubrovnik and Split.
