NEWS FLASH
Flydubai is elevating its onboard economy class experience starting next month, with all passengers set to enjoy complimentary meals and access to inflight entertainment (IFE), regardless of their fare type, as the airline officially becomes a full-service carrier. Up until now, only select fare types, as well as Emirates transfer passengers, had access to inflight meals and inflight entertainment, while others could purchase either for a fee. However, these amenities will now be included in everyone’s ticket. Flydubai’s inflight entertainment system offers more than 1.000 of the latest Hollywood, Bollywood, Arabic and international films, alongside a diverse selection of TV shows from major studios including HBO Max, BBC Kids and Cartoon Network. Travellers can also explore interactive games, e-magazines, more than 700 music albums and podcast episodes, or discover more about their destination through travel guides and real-time flight information.

DeleteSmart decision!
ReplyDeleteFinally, it was about time to do so!
ReplyDelete25 years flying from Japan to Bangkok, 110 times, they have always had that (a 5 hours flight). Their food has always been near restaurant quality.
ReplyDeleteI'll definitely fly on them in the future.
ReplyDeleteAbout a year ago I flew with them and we were served a snack. It wasn't really a meal. Let's see if they actually improve their catering. All in all good for them, especially on longer flights like DXB-BEG.
ReplyDeleteMakes sense as their fares were already "full service"
ReplyDeleteDoes this mean they might rebrand to Emirates? Emirates did start off with Boeing 737s and 727s in 1985.
