Flydubai boosts Ljubljana service

Flydubai will increase operations between its hub and the Slovenian capital during the 2026 summer season. The airline plans to maintain five weekly services between the two cities, up from four last summer. The additional weekly rotation will be added on Mondays, complementing the Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday schedule. During the January - October period in 2025, Flydubai handled 48.058 passengers on its Ljubljana service. The figure represents a year-on-year increase of 2.5%. Its average cabin load factor over the ten-month period stood at 68.6%.

    That's a very poor load factor. It's interesting that they are increasing frequencies.

      Poor LF is mainly the result of horrible LF in Jan and Mar 2025 (60 %). They reduced the frequencies in those two months for 2026, so the LF should be better. Otherwise they are achieving solid LF. It hovered around 70-80% in summer months, with exception of June when it was only 51 % for some reason. Overall the increase of the passenger numbers this year with the same (or even a few less) flights compared to 2024 points to growth. Very modest, but growth overall.

      Flydubai will probably increase from 17 to 19 weekly flights to compensate for the two weekly frequencies Qatar is going to scrap next summer.
