Croatian airlines and airports form work group to advance sector

Representatives of key stakeholders from across Croatia’s aviation sector met recently for the inaugural meeting of a newly established Working Group focused on advancing air transport and workforce development in the country. Held at the premises of the Croatian Civil Aviation Agency and organised under the auspices of the Croatian Chamber of Economy, the meeting brought together Croatia Airlines, ETF Airways, Fly Air41 Airways, Trade Air, Pula Airport, Zagreb Airport, Osijek Airport, Split Airport, Havas Ground Handling, the Croatian Civil Aviation Agency and Crocontrol. Discussions centred on strategic and operational priorities, workforce challenges and the development of a roadmap for the ongoing year, with an emphasis on strengthening expertise and ensuring sustainable growth. Participants highlighted that the level of cooperation, exchange of ideas and clearly defined objectives demonstrated the sector’s strong potential in the country.

    We sat in a room and argued about who has to do what, how we're understaffed, and what we're supposed to accomplish this year without any extra budget. Everyone agreed that if we actually talked to each other and had a clue what we were doing, we might actually make some money.

    Can someone please tell me why Niko DCS is the prevalent DCS in HR as well as in OMO? It’s pure rubbish.

    They have airports like DBV, SPU in a tight fist. Why?

    How did it get favoured over more well-known and reliable systems for DCS?

      Yeah, if it happened 20 years ago, if OU were not single type LHG feeder, if we had functional and appropriate PSO, if ZAG was not given into very very very bad concession, if at least all airports were attending, if someone from Ministry of transport and communications was there, and so on and so on...
      But I understand some people must hail Bravo every single time Croatia is mentioned, no matter what the content of the text is or was....
