NEWS FLASH
ETF Airways’ ATR72-600, which will be wet-leased to Croatia Airlines shortly, is preparing for its official entry into service. As recently reported, the ACMI specialist operated non-revenue test flights to Pula and Zadar this week for local certification purposes ahead of its commercial use. The 70-seat turboprop is tentatively scheduled to enter commercial service on behalf of Croatia Airlines next week, although changes remain possible.

They need 3-4...what happens when this one needs to go into maintenance or is damaged by a minor incident? Just doesn't make sense at all to have only onr without any backup from the ACMI provider
ReplyDeleteIn any case ATR is a good choice, but they could've just replace Q400s with them and order half less A220s
Nothing makes sense in OU!
DeleteYes, ETF would need to build out a fleet for this make sense, and not all of them should be operated exclusively for OU. Will that happen? Who knows.
DeleteThey need to start from a first aircraft.....
DeleteThey could not get 4 in a single day.
Bravo Hrvatska!
ReplyDeleteWhy representing yourself as a single aircraft type operator when you are still planing to use other types? Wet leased or dry leased you still use it cause you cant fill the A220 to some places.
ReplyDeleteBut they wanted to say they are a single type owner :)))
DeleteThey dont own anything planes the taxpayer helps rent them
DeleteHalf are owned, half are leased
DeleteAll aircraft are on a financial lease.
DeleteAdmin thank you. I thought there were news half will be owned. My bad.
DeleteOh, wait...didn't so called expert say that Q400 is a way better plane?
ReplyDeleteWhat is this now?
Not technically but the Dash was very comfortable
ReplyDeleteObviously not enough.
