JU could definitely support a two weekly operation to Beijing.
ReplyDeleteNo. They should focus on boosting PVG first. Anyway, they can't add more China flights without granting more rights to their competition.
DeleteMaybe they should consider giving them more or just terminating CAN and boosting PVG to 4x.
JU already has rights for Beijing.
DeleteThey have the right but not the frequencies to launch it unless they cut something else or if they agree for Chinese airlines to get more. So far Air China, China Southern and Hainan are listed as airlines that can fly from China to BEG.
DeleteI think it would be better for JU to focus on PVG which is a massive market.
@11.14 it lapses. It only lasts for a year.
DeleteCrazy stuff
DeleteNow we need Xiamen airways or China eastern.
ReplyDeleteNeither can launch unless the bilateral is revised. Right now only Air Serbia, Hainan, China Southern and Air China can launch flights. However the number of frequencies is maxed out.
DeleteBangkok
ReplyDeleteI wonder if there will be any negotiations about changing terms in that bilateral agreement between SRB and China, i guess there is room for more flights
ReplyDeleteAnd regarding this news, since they have the same number of seats, is this difference important only because their Boeing planes are slightly newer than the Airbus ones? Is there something else?
The 787 has a quieter cabin than the A330.
DeleteI prefer 330, it feels more specious and more open. 797 just does not do it for me on long haul flight .
DeleteThe 787 cabin is actually wider than the A330 one, by some 20-25 cm. So I struggle to see how you find an A330 more spacious and open, if the same hard product is installed.
DeleteBecause it's 2-4-2 and not 3-3-3.
DeleteAre there any people from ex-yu on these flights or only chinese?
ReplyDeleteWhen I flew this route in 2025 around 40% of passengers on my flight were from Serbia.
