NEWS FLASH
Swiss International Air Lines will suspend operations between Geneva and Pristina over the upcoming winter season, which begins on October 25. Berlin and Hamburg will also be discontinued from the Swiss city. “The cessation of these services has been prompted by the continuing limited availability worldwide of aircraft and engine parts for the Swiss Airbus A220 fleet. Swiss is modifying its services from Geneva accordingly, to further strengthen overall fleet planning and operational stability”, the carrier noted. It is unclear whether the route will return next summer, although Swiss noted these changes impact the winter. The airline’s last flight of the year on the route is planned for October 24. Last winter season, Swiss maintained two weekly flights between the two cities. GP Aviation and easyJet will continue to run operations between the two.

Hope they will come back
ReplyDeleteThere are about 300k passengers between the pair. If they wait too long, EasyJet and GP will eat their share.
DeleteI noticed a significant decrease in passengers lately to PRN. It's either the fuel costs or the cost of living.
ReplyDeleteSignificant decrease ?
