Croatia Airlines will take delivery of two additional Airbus A220-300 aircraft this summer, following the arrival of another jet last week. One of the new aircraft will become the first Airbus A220-300 in the world to be painted in the official Star Alliance livery. Under alliance guidelines, member airlines are required to dedicate a specified number or percentage of their fleets to the distinctive black-and-white Star Alliance colour scheme. The incoming aircraft will become the tenth and eleventh A220s in Croatia Airlines' fleet. The carrier is then expected to receive a further three aircraft by the end of the year, subject to any delivery delays, followed by a final jet in 2027, completing its transition to an all-A220 fleet.

So this will be a summer of delays because of the fleet shortage and then in the winter half of it will be parked

Someone should do analysis on numbers impact of Star Alliance on Croatia Airlines. Not just transfer passengers but also long term financial effect, to me looks like small government owned airline has been abused

There is no benefit of being in alliance when you are small as Croatia Airlines.

There are plenty of benefits for tied mafiosos and politicians who surrendered entire market to foreigners for their personal benefits. The same team is so strong that media in Croatia, including "independent " and "investigative " are totally silent about disaster called OU and their enormous losses we all pay year by year, more and more. The team (tied politicians and mafiosos) don't have to worry about consequences of their criminal acts and acts of treason because they are under protection of "naš dečko " Attorney General who opens investigations against opposition for ridiculous couple thousand euro "cases" very often even without evidence and multi million thefts remain untouched. While "za dom spremni" is yelled in the Parliament with no consequences. If I knew "modern, European, democratic " independent Croatia would have looked as it look like today, I would have never voted for its independence. Star Alliance and OU are just one small small part of the overall mosaic/puzzle of disaster we have in Croatia

Is it Star Alliance's fault that OU directors and Croatian politicians are incompetent?

You mix up causes and consequences. Corruption is cause.. Star Aliance and incompetence are consequences

It's hardly relevant. An easy 'first'... Be first in growth, profit, revenue... Anything relevant.

Valjda neće mu nabiti ovu crnu verziju, bijela verzija koju je imao CTO je ljepša!
